>...........Art Car Boot Fair 08 - Sporeboys/Bettina von Zwehl....................................................

Sporeboys have been invited to participate in the Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair this year. Taking place on 8th June @ the old Truman
Brewery off Brick lane. We will be situated in the Artist Food Market in collaboration with portrait artist Bettina von Zwehl.
She will be creating: 'Bettina's rare pilz polaroid portraits' where interested punters young and old can stick their head
(seaside stylie) through a selection of boards depicting wild and wonderous fungi. Bettina will then capture the happening for
posterity on a (rare) sheet of polariod film and sign the result.

Following the success of Covent Garden Night Market each thursday during august, Sporeboys have been invited
to '12 Days of Christmas'. Every day in the piazza 12th till 23rd December. Pop down for a bowl of warming mushroom risotto
and forrage for a sporegift or two. As well as hot food and fresh wild 'n exotic shrooms for sale we will have dried and jarred fungi
fancies to take home for the pantry stocking.

We raised the bar at Bestival and prepared 1/4 tonne of spores for the hungry revellers - a few of us even managed to catch
an act or two.The spore apparel found fame when Fyfe Dangerfield (Guillemots) wore one of our tour t-shirts during their gig
on main stage (picture of Fyfe coming soon).

Come on over to the Isle of Wight and eat mushroom recipies that will be freshly prepared in front of your eyes. Apparently
there are also some good music acts to chomp shrooms along to. We will be preparing chanterelle omelettes to order from 9am
every morning. That'll have settled your hangover just in time to tuck into our mixed mushroom risotto from 12noon onwards and
available into the wee small hours until sporechef can stir no more. Risotto will be accompanied in the sporetent by our resident
mushroom sandwich and special star guest - portabellini mushroom and haloumi burger! - get down!

Sporeboys are especially drawn to the lawns of lords! - do your taste buds a favour and treat them to the latest sporefruits
of the season. We'll have wonderful Scottish chanterelles and the worlds finest porcini on stall along with organic cultivated
Japanese mushrooms and a few other surprises.

With a vanload of the freshest mushrooms and some spore-sous-chefs at hand, the sporeboys will be donning their tour t-shirts
and setting about the task of feeding all the hungry minds at this fantastic festival. So whether you're a book publisher or a book
worm, a film director or a film buff - get down for the weekend and get up to the smell of spores a cookin. We'll be preparing our
famous mushroom sandwich to order - supported in the kitchen by our mushroom risotto and tara's tasty creamy cepe soup.

Take to the streets at the Marylebone Summer Fayre, with a farmers’ market, live music, activities for kids and more.Marylebone
High Street will be thriving with a lively atmosphere, closed off to traffic for the occasion. Pedestrians can roam and browse
throughout the day, making the most of what the Marylebone Summer Fayre has to offer. London’s largest farmers’ market
will be taking place during the Marylebone Summer Fayre, bringing fresh produce to London from across the UK. Visitors can
pick up fruit and vegetables direct from the source at a popular annual market. A range of activities will be available for children
to enjoy including face painting and fairground rides. Families can enjoy a full day out at the Marylebone Summer Fayre, which
will also feature a programme of live music. Proceeds from the Fayre will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust. The event is
free to attend.
